About the Soap Maker

Soap making has been on my mind for over 30 years. It’s something I always thought would be fun to do but I hadn’t taken the leap to start such a challenging craft. Thinking back, my interest must have started in my high school Chemistry class where one of the lab assignments was to make soap. My experiment failed miserably. I guess we all need a little therapy from our past. My form of therapy was to learn how to properly make soap!

In 2018 I took the leap and made the decision to try making soap. Since then, I’ve grown more confident in the craft, my techniques, and how I select each scent. It’s been an amazingly fun hobby for me that has become a business.  

Being the creative that I am, I wanted to add even more fun to the process and center my brand around music. You’ll find many pun-laden references to music of the 70s and 80s along with a cassette motif used in different ways.

Fun names like, “Funky Cold Verbena”, “When Suds Fly”, and “Shake Yo’ Honey Maker” all came to mind. Explore all of the products and enjoy a little indulgence in your bathing and self-care ritual.
